BirdDog, Inc. was founded in 2006 by Mike Sienkowski. Mike is an acknowledged industry expert in Bay Area technology recruiting with expertise in Software and Software Systems (OpenSource, Network and Security), with over 9 years experience recruiting and building relationship with the best in Bay Area software engineering talent. Previous to BirdDog, Mike was Vice President of Contingency Search at Gravity in San Francisco. At Gravity, Mike managed a team of highly successful and dedicated Recruiters while setting new benchmarks in quality of service and revenue. Previous to this, for a number of years, Mike was one of Symantec’s key Recruiters specializing in the areas of Engineering, Product Management and Security Research across multiple Symantec product lines.
Mike is originally from Boston Massachusetts and a Graduate of Boston University with a BS degree in International Relations. In his spare time Mike enjoys reading, cooking, playing his Martin and following the Boston Red Sox.
